Hany Awadalla serves as managing director of investment banking at National Securities in New York, New York. A longtime philanthropist of the theater arts, Hany Awadalla is a Patron-level member of the Manhattan Theatre Company.
Continuing the 2015-2016 season at the Manhattan Theatre Club is Nick Payne’s Incognito in its American premiere. Payne also penned Constellations, which realized sold-out Broadway success.
Weaving back and forth between the present day and the 1950s, Incognito follows the story of a pathologist who steals Einstein’s brain, a man who has seizures and loses his memory, and a female neuropsychologist who finds herself smitten with another woman. The production will be directed by Doug Hughes, who won a Tony Award in 2005 for his work on Doubt: A Parable.
Previews of Incognito begin May 3, with the show opening on May 24 on the New York City Center Stage. The show closes on June 26.
