Educational Programs at Manhattan Theatre Club

Hany Awadalla currently serves as the Managing Director, Healthcare Investment Banking, for the New York-based National Securities Corp. Previously, he worked with investment firms such as Merrill Lynch, Robertson Stephens, and wells Fargo. In addition to his banking career, Hany Awadalla supports theatres such as the Manhattan Theatre Club.

The Manhattan Theatre Club in New York offers a variety of educational programs and workshops. Its adult education program brings together adults with theatre professionals for engaging workshops that delve deeper into the theatre’s productions.

High school students can participate in Write Now!, a program consisting of weekly sessions after school to develop skills in playwriting. Experienced playwrites lead the program, which runs from October through December and February through May. It concludes with a professional reading for an audience of the participants’ friends and family.

The Family Matinee program brings together students and adults for a Saturday workshop about the afternoon’s production they will attend. A free program, it encourages family members of different generations to discuss and enjoy theatre together.
