Hany Awadalla, Managing Director of Healthcare Investment Banking with National Securities, works in corporate finance, where he deals with mergers, acquisitions, and private capital. When he’s not working, Hany Awadalla supports the arts through a number of theater organizations, including the Manhattan Theater Club.
The Manhattan Theatre Club (MTC) was founded in 1970 as a way of showcasing Off-Off-Broadway productions along with new theatre works. MTC now offers both an Artistic Development Program and an Education Program to help aspiring artists reach their goals. The Artistic Development Program provides support to artists through commissions, live readings, and workshops, while the Education program focuses on student participation, with offerings of matinees, in-class instruction, and internships.
As a nonprofit organization, the MTC depends on its patrons. In return, not only do Patron members receive tickets for all MTC productions, but they also have access to some of the best seats in the house. Should they need more tickets, Patrons can buy more and make unlimited exchanges, even at the last minute. Patron members are also able to hangout in the Patron Lounge before shows and have the opportunity to meet both the performers and fellow Patrons at various events.
